Lantern Bay POA offers reserved trailer parking at Area 16, a designated paved trailer parking area. Six numbered parking spaces are currently available for registered boat trailers and personal watercraft (jet ski) trailers. Parking is available by reservation only and is subject to availability.

Where to Find Area 16

Area 16 is located in the lower-left portion of the resort map, near Buildings 17–21 along Goldfinch Road. Look for the trailer icon labeled Area 16 Boat & Jet Ski Trailer Parking.

Payment alone does not guarantee a parking space. Your reservation is confirmed only after Lantern Bay POA verifies availability and provides you with an assigned numbered parking space. Because only six spaces are currently available, reservations are subject to availability.
Tow vehicles may enter Area 16 to place or retrieve an authorized trailer, but may not remain parked in Area 16 or remain attached to a trailer after placement. The tow vehicle must be moved to an authorized vehicle parking area.

Parking Rate & Reservation Times

The fee is $15 per space, per day. Each reserved day begins at 12:00 noon on the arrival date and ends at 10:00 a.m. the following day. Arrival is permitted at any time during your confirmed reservation dates. For multiple-day stays, the fee applies to each day reserved.

Example

A reservation beginning September 18 and ending September 21 includes 3 days × $15 = $45. The space is available beginning at noon on September 18 and must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on September 21.

Assigned Parking Spaces

Every confirmed reservation will receive a numbered parking space assignment. Trailers must:

  • Be parked only in the numbered space assigned to the reservation
  • Be parked completely within the assigned space
  • Remain in Area 16 only during the confirmed reservation dates

Assignments are temporary and reservation-specific. An assigned space does not create a permanent or exclusive parking right beyond the confirmed reservation dates.

Permitted Trailers

Area 16 is reserved exclusively for registered:

  • Boat trailers
  • Personal watercraft / jet ski trailers

Only the trailer types listed above are permitted in the Area 16 parking spaces.

What Is Not Permitted

  • Utility trailers
  • Travel trailers
  • Campers
  • Recreational vehicles (RVs)
  • Moving trailers or U-Hauls
  • Other types of trailers
  • Oversized vehicles

Temporary construction vehicles, trailers, or other vehicles may be permitted only when specifically authorized by the Lantern Bay POA Board. Any such authorization is separate from the Area 16 trailer parking program.

Before You Arrive

  1. Submit payment through Lantern Bay POA @TheCoveParking.
  2. Include your Building # / Unit #, Name, Phone Number, Arrival Date, and Departure Date in the Venmo payment note.
  3. Receive confirmation from Lantern Bay POA.
  4. Receive your assigned parking space number.
Do not arrive at Area 16 assuming payment alone has secured a space. Your reservation is not confirmed until Lantern Bay POA provides an assigned numbered space.

Tow Vehicles

Tow vehicles may enter Area 16 for the purpose of placing or retrieving an authorized trailer.

Tow vehicles may not remain parked in Area 16 or remain attached to a trailer after placement.

Once your trailer has been positioned in its assigned space, the tow vehicle must be moved to an authorized vehicle parking area.

Parking Enforcement

All Area 16 parking is subject to the Lantern Bay POA governing documents, Rules & Regulations, posted parking requirements, and applicable law.

Violations may be subject to enforcement in accordance with the Lantern Bay POA governing documents and Rules & Regulations, including applicable notices, fines, and other authorized remedies.

Unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles or trailers may be subject to towing at the owner’s expense when authorized by applicable law.
  • Unauthorized vehicles or trailers occupying Area 16
  • Trailers parked in a space other than the space assigned to the reservation
  • Trailers remaining beyond their confirmed reservation dates
  • Tow vehicles remaining parked in the Area 16 trailer parking area
  • Vehicles or trailers obstructing another parking space or access area
